BC, together with a group specialising in event organisation, won the tender to organise the opening ceremony of the World Swimming Championships Rome 2009.

The event was held in the fascinating setting of the Stadio dei Marmi and was attended by well over 2,000 people.

Among those present were leading Italian politicians together with stars from the entertainment world.

The atmosphere at the ceremony was magic, with dancing mermaids and surreal images playing on two large video screens each measuring 900 square metres. Over one hundred countries worldwide followed the event live on TV.
